I’m thrilled and delighted to dedicate this space to a very special pairing. Allow me to introduce you to Keith and Carl, who’ve recently tied the knot and celebrated their Civil Partnership in a beautiful part of North Yorkshire.
We met as a result of a chance meeting at work and have been inseparable ever since. Carl popped the question with a romantic proposal on Valentine’s Day last year, which is when we began to plan what turned out to be the happiest day of our lives – so far at least!
In order to make the most of it, we opted for an intimate weekend-long celebration of our Civil Partnership with families and friends in one of our favourite parts of the county. The ceremony itself and the celebrations which followed took place at The Downe Arms, a country house hotel at Wykeham, situated on the edge of the magnificent North Yorkshire Moors National Park, just ten minutes from Scarborough.
And then throughout the following day and night, we entertained guests at a private guest house in Scarborough, which we hired exclusively for our use.
Thanks to Bash, our guests were also entertained with a fun casino, which was brilliant.
If you’re thinking of arranging a Civil Partnership, you’ll need to factor in time to get your heads around the registration process in order to avoid the potential pitfalls. Consulting a planner like Helen could prove to be invaluable. Not only will she guide you through the legal requirements and timescales, she’ll make sure nothing is left to chance as you prepare for your big day.
